April 1996

It is decribed how to develop parallel C-programs for the Transputer-workstation at the Institute for Applied Mathematics and Statistics of the Technical University Munich. Using certain tools together with the Ansi C language simplifies the development of parallel programs by freeing the user from the unconvenient task of mapping the software topology of a parallel program onto the existing hardware topology. So it is possible to connect processes which can physically be located anywhere in the net by virtual channels.
